    Tips:
    • Download the PTV ( Public Transport Victoria ) app for transport timetables and to plan your journeys.
    • Get a Myki card if you intend to travel out of Melbourne’s CBD. It is your ticket to travel on trains, tram and buses in Melbourne and many parts of regional Victoria. You will need this card if you are travelling out of the Free Tram Zone, such as going to the Werribee Open Range Zoo.
    • Travel with Melbourne’s City Circle Tram. The free service operates within Melbourne's central business district, which runs every 30 minutes, and takes approximately 48 minutes to complete a loop. You only require the Myki smartcard If the journey is "outside the CBD Grid".
    • Catch the FREE trams operated by Yarra Trams that runs within the Free Tram Zone in CBD and out a little further to Docklands. Example Route 58 Tram brings you to tourist attractions such as the Queen Victoria Market ( Tram Stop 9 ), Melbourne Zoo ( Tram Stop 26 ), Eureka Skydeck 88 ( Tram Stop 112 ), Crown Entertainment Complex ( Tram Stop 115 ) and more.
    • Weather conditions in Melbourne can be rather extreme. It can be at 24 °C one day and up to 35 °C the next, so be sure to bring along a cardigan with you. Poncho is also highly recommended as weather can be daunting and you can experience four seasons in just one day.
