I made some Prawns and Spinach Filo Rolls in Philadelphia Cheese for our last Christmas Dinner, and they turned out surprisingly good and my family could not get enough. So I decided to use the leftover filo sheets which can be refrozen to make these Delicious Prawn and Spinach Filo Cups with Foie Gras.

I found the The Fillo Factory Whole Wheat Filo Dough going at a discounted price in Cold Storage supermarket, so I bought them just to try. I love filo pastries, but this is the first time I am trying the whole wheat type. Can you see all those dots on the pastries compared to the normal ones which are evenly coloured without any dots? If you prefer a healthier version, I guess Whole Wheat would be a better choice since it is organic and vegan.

( Makes 6 Filo Cups )

  1. Look really yummy! From afar, i thought the filo sheet look similar to the chinese beancurd it's definitely not...1st time coming across Filo pie...look real delicious!

  3. I am so impressed by your cooking creativity. This is very interesting and nice to bite!

  4. I'd love some prawns but not foie gras. It's fattened liver of goose or duck right? They force feed the duck or goose with corn through a tube or pipe. And when the liver's fat enough...sorry didn't mean to be graphic. I just feel sorry for animals.

    1. I understand where you're coming from & I do share your concern as well, dear. Don't worry, the Foie Gras are made without force-feeding, which means the geese eat and live the natural way. xoxo
