Pork Leg Bee Hoon is one of Singapore’s favourite homecooked food. It is easy to cook and extremely delicious, yet so economical. If you have been following Luxury Haven, you will know that I like serving Crispy Dried Fish as an extra ingredient so that it is not another boring dish. You can find these dried fish in the supermarkets or local provision shops and there are quite a handful of varieties you can use.
Do you know that other than cooking vermicelli with Narcissus Pork Leg or their Stewed Pork Chops, you can also cook with rice? Cooking for two is not easy, so I kinda like this one-pot dish. In this post, I shall show you how simple it is to cook this fuss-free dish. It is like a one-pot dish where you practically throw everything into the rice cooker, and out come an Appetizing Narcissus Pork Leg Rice with Cabbage ( 美味猪脚白菜饭 )!

- Rinse rice and set aside with ¼ cup water in rice cooker. Cut up cabbage and rinse. Add to rice.
- Remove bones from pork. Shred meat and add to rice together with sauce.

- Cook rice in auto mode. Set your kitchen timer to 10 minutes to check rice. Mix well to prevent the bottom from sticking onto the rice cooker. Continue to cook.
- While rice is cooking, deep fry the dried fish till golden brown and set aside.
- When rice is ready, stir well and transfer to serving plate. Top with shredded chillies and scallions, and serve with Crispy Fish.
