Chocolate Wonton Kisses Recipe

As promised in my An Evening With Celebrity Chef Bob Blumer, here's my 1st demo on Bob's creation - Chocolate Kiss Wontons but I prefer the name Chocolate Wonton Kisses.

I've made some changes to the recipe. The original calls for Hershey's caramel chocolate but I found them too sweet so I've substituted with Meiji's Melty Kiss instead. Also, I've used chunky peanut butter for extra crunch instead of the normal ones. I've omitted powdered sugar for dusting too but you can add these if you've a sweet tooth.

  8. When oil is hot, deep-fry wontons till golden brown. Remove & place on paper towel to absorb excess oil. Dust powered sugar (optional) & you've got your Chocolate Wonton Kisses!

These special wontons were wrapped by my son, with extra ingredients & toppings (ice-cream sprinkles & cocoa powder). If you've kids, try it with them. They'll love it!
