Located at Shizuoka Prefecture, it is situated on an extensive site within the view of World Cultural Heritage site, Mount Fuji.

On my last trip to Tokyo, my Japanese friends drove us to Gotemba Premium Outlet and we stopped by the Expasa rest area ( 談合坂 ) along the highway to take a break. There, visitors can have coffee, or shop for Japanese souvenirs such as these pretty heart-shaped Tokyo Pudding Omelettes ( 東京プリンオムレット ), Dango ( だんご ), and cute Tokyo Shio Hiyoko ( 東京塩ひよ子 ).

The drive to Gotemba Premium Outlet was so scenic. Although it was a cold and gloomy day with intermittent showers, we were lucky to have some clear shots of the magnificent Mount Fuji along the way. Stunning, isn't it?

  14. Love the location of this outlet. Beautiful. Nevertheless, I don't get any hype anymore on such outlets. Already quite a number, neither I am shopaholic. Fashion does not have to be about branding anyway. If we know how to carry ourselves, even affordable non branded things can make us look like a million.
