Visit Perak 2017: Instagram Spots in Ipoh and Royal Belum

Just back from a 4D3N media trip in conjunction with the Visit Perak Year 2017, and I must say that the expedition was quite different from what I had imagined.

Perak ( 霹雳 ) is one of the 13 states of Malaysia, and is the fourth largest state in the country. I can see why Perak has been voted 6th Best Place in Asia to Visit by Lonely Planet in 2016. This trip to the rugged Malaysian region has definitely expanded my horizon, allowing me to step out of my comfort zone to explore deep into the jungle, away from the Ipoh city I knew.

Ipoh ( 怡保 ) is known for their vibrant food scene available in any corner of the town, but there is definitely more than just food in the capital city of Perak. This post also takes you to the Royal Belum State Park, a huge park in the northern parts of Peninsular Malaysia.  So if you are planning for your next vacation in Malaysia, below are some of the Instagram spots in Perak worth checking out:
