Luxury Haven’s Home Make-Over By Nippon Paint!

nippon paint momento colour my world
Finally, a home makeover after 6 years & it’s all made possible because of Nippon Paint!

After 6 years of living in my apartment, I started getting bored of my current home & wanted a change. Don’t you have this feeling too, after living in the same space for a certain number of years? Well, here’s an insight of my current home:

nippon paint living room before
nippon paint master bedroom before
nippon paint son room before
nippon paint study room before
Basically, these are the current feature walls that we have. I want something different, not so plain this time.

nippon paint toilet before
Of course, a fresh coat of paint is also needed for other areas like the toilet ceilings & yard.

I love watching those American reality shows on TV where some lucky home owners get a makeover for free. Never knew it would one day happen to me too. Needless to say, the feeling’s great of having a makeover fully sponsored by Nippon Paint; it’s as good as striking lottery!

For my 2-week home makeover, Nippon Paint will be using their Momento Special Effects Paints creating wallpaper effects on my home walls. “Every Wall Is A Canvas For A Masterpiece”, so says #NipponPaint; I believe so too, as long as I get the right people.

The big day came for my discussion with their team, giving me an insight of what #Momento is all about. It seems that these special paints can turn ordinary walls into astonishing masterpieces; just like having wallpapers!

About a week later, more people gathered at my home for another discussion to meet my requests. That day, I was also introduced to their Momento Paint Specialist, Nippon Paint’s team from their Marketing, & Retail Sales department etc.

There was also a site inspection to check the conditions of my walls. Basically, I’ve few areas of concern:

nippon paint study room stains
Mouldy walls

nippon paint living room stains
Stains that cannot be removed

The site evaluation also included an understanding of their colour scheme for the areas to be painted, & confirming the painting dates so we can schedule accordingly. Basically, here's an an overview of the process once you engage #NipponPaint for their professional painting services:

  1. Once painting package is confirmed over the phone with Nippon Paint, an appointment will be set up to do a site evaluation e.g. check wall conditions.  This will also include understanding your colour scheme for the rooms to be painted.
  2. The next step is to confirm the painting dates so that you can be present at home.
  3. The actual painting starts which will include pre-preparation work to protect your furnishings etc.
  4. Once painting is completed, their project manager will do an evaluation of the paintwork with you before issuing a 1-year interior paint warranty for touch-ups.

I’ll be updating you on the progress of my makeover which is at the above Step 3, & talk about Momento & also including tips when repainting your home & so forth.

  4. This is so interesting and so much fun... getting a home makeover but yes... a lot of work as well and Nippon Momento gives a good effect of course it all depends on who is doing it for you... got our home renovated in October before moving in and gave a thought to using Momento for feature walls but later chickened out because could not take the risk of not liking the effect achieved and went for wall papers instead :|
Hope you get a great effect and would love to see the updates :)
