Sauvignon Blanc Clams & Mussels Pot

clams mussels pot in white wine recipe
Few weeks back, I'd joined more than 100 Singapore Bloggers to #CookForFamily! This Clams & Mussels Pot was one of the dishes I'd made for my family. I ate this in one of the restaurants in S'pore called Ambush, & been wanting to try cooking this since. That day, the Californian Sauvignon Blanc from Woodbridge was going at 50% off, & I got it for only S$20!

I love using these shellfish in my cooking cause they're so cheap. Here's how I made the Clams & Mussels Pot in White Wine. Be warned! The soupy dish is highly addictive!

  7. Sauvignon blanc is my favorite white wine... This just looks delicious! So I'll drink the wine and you eat the clams? The beads in yesterday's top were not sewn on by my MOm ;)

  8. The bacon makes it even tastier! I sometimes add one strip of finely chopped bacon into my dishes to funk it up. It gives seafood and pasta a lovely kick.

BTW, strangely that I find your comments on the .sg(dot.sg) of my blog:P Hehehe. The correct url should be http://3bittersweetlemon.blogspot.com THANX for dropping by so regularly:D

    1. missyblurkit, totally agree! Bacon adds so much flavour to our cooking. For Blogspot, .com changes according to where the reader is coming from. Like mine, http://luxuryhaven.blogspot.com changes to .sg when the reader is in S'pore & changes again to .uk when the reader is reading from UK. Hope this clarifies :)
