Daiana Chocolates, Full Of Surprises

daiana chocolates, date with bloggers at melaka
Daiana Chocolates was one of the official sponsors for the Date With Bloggers At Melaka 2012 event. Bloggers were given a bag of these delicious goodies. Honestly, I haven't heard of Daiana Chocolates, so I was sceptical about the quality & taste initially. Which was also why I waited till today to open up the snacks as I ran out of stuff to munch. Boy, was I impressed!

daiana chocolates coffee break crispy choco roll
My first attempt was the Coffee Break Crispy Choco Roll. We were given the Mocha, Hazelnut & Blueberry to try. I love Hazelnuts, so naturally my hand reached out to the brown box. I was surprised to find small individually-wrapped rolls inside.

Ldaiana chocolates choco roll review
Just one bite & you'll fall in love with these mini Choco Rolls with Hazelnut fillings. I love these crunchy wafer-thin rolls filled with creamy Hazelnuts!

Instantly, I turned the box over to read the details. Apparently, these crispy rolls are manufactured using the best Austrian machinery & technology. The Cocoa are imported from Africa & Milk Powder from New Zealand. The only thing I hate to see is "manufactured in China". But then again, there're so many stuff that are made in China, aren't they?

daiana chocolates krispy peanut candy
Now that I like the taste, I was persuaded to try more. The bright fushia package & the word "Peanut" caught my attention. I tore open the bag of Krispy Peanut Candy & pop them into my mouth one by one. Gosh, I couldn't stop eating them! Individually wrapped with 3 different flavours, these candies come in Original, Cocoa & Mocha flavours but you can still taste Peanuts in them. Warming!! These Peanut Candies are highly addictive!! Hahaha!

daiana chocolates rainbow peanut chocolates
Next, I opened up the Rainbow Peanut Chocolates. These multi-coloured choco balls remind me of my younger days where I used to pop these treats. As I aged, I've less tolerant for sweet stuff. These are too sweet for me, but I'm sure they make popular goodies for kids.

daiana chocolates rocky chocolates
I often see these stone-resemble candies. Just don't have the urge to try them till now. I was surprised to find real chocolates inside these "stones". My naughty son suggested putting these Rocky Chocolates on the coffee table as they look like pebbles. He probably didn't think that ants will be the first to be attracted to these candies.

daiana chocolates review
I'm really happy to see some of the stuff with stickers that say, "Specially packed for: Singapore........." I'm gonna hit the supermart & search for these yummy treats!

Thank you Daiana Chocolates, for the goodie bag!

Have you heard of Daiana Chocolates? Do you like chocolates & candies too?

  6. Oh, specially pack for S'pore? I must go and search for this wafer hazelnuts roll too. I've tried some other brand in S'pore but they cost way too expensive and i shall check this Daiana brand out. Perhaps i could get a good bargain.

  10. Shirley, that Coffee Break treat is a clever idea with smaller portions to savor individually. Sometimes all it takes is a tiny bite. Oh, who am I kidding?! I'd eat more than one and you know it. :) Glad you enjoyed your chocolate sampling!

  12. HI Shirley, Thanks for the quick note. It sure feels loved when friends drop a line asking if all is well. Summer is what happened to me and the main culprit to keep me away from posting. MY boys also started with the camp and the swim and karate lessons, add few guests to that and a full time job, I have more on my plate than I can chew with my teeth. I do try to read in between on my phone, but still learning to type from the phone, hence less comments on the posts. Next month onwards it will die down and we will be back to routine. Thanks again for the kind check on me, I really appreciate that.
    Love Ash.

  13. Hey! I back here. New layout - Nice! And it seems faster to load now. But i kind of like the last format of "you may also like" (with main picture of that particular post). And oh, the background color is so refreshing too - guess it would take time for me to get use to it. Haha! Oops! back to why i'm back here again, after reading your post about Daiana specially packed some product for S'pore consumers, I went to the most major last supermarket in search of the hazelnut wafer roll; guess what, i found it. And it's really a steal to me - imagine i just have to pay half the price of what i was paying for the expensive brand. Well i get same taste at a fraction of the price - why not. And oh yes, not forgetting to share here - i saw another flavour too - blueberry, i think children with a sweet tooth would love that.

like yours. It is pretty worth enough for me. In my view, if all webmasters and bloggers made good content as you did, the web will be much more useful than ever before.
