Marks & Spencer Opens With A Big Bang At Wheelock Place

Are you a fan of the British giant retailer, Marks & Spencer?

M&S has a real treat lined up for its customers in Singapore when it opened its completely transformed flagship store last week at Wheelock Place, Level 1, with a brand new look, & I'm glad to be part of this grand opening.

The newly extended double-sized 30,000 sq ft store, will provide customers with a better shopping experience showcasing M&S most extensive range of quality fashion, accessories, food & wine.

What’s New:

Clothing
Each clothing brand is clearly segmented, with distinct brand identities that allow customers to see which brand best meets their personal style preferences.

Example: Limited Collection above has an edgy, fashion-focus feel with an illuminated catwalk inspired by all things Italian.

Collezione features an Italian scooter to highlight the suave, stylish pieces for the men.

Food Hall
Over 800 products offering a wider range of all traditional British favourites, speciality int’l food & a comprehensive range of wines & drinks from around the world.

Bakery
M&S first in-store Bakery, providing a range of speciality breads, pastries, cakes etc.

With me is M&S’ Bakery Chef, specially flown in from the UK to supervise the opening.

Beauty
For the 1st time in S’pore, M&S will offer three new bath & body beauty collections to refresh & relax the senses including the Ragdale Hall, Spa Collection & the delicately perfumed La Maison de Senteurs.

Invited guests & media were in for a real treat that day, ranging from live band to a catwalk, showcasing M&S’ Spring/Summer Collections.

All invited guest to the event were given Shopping Treats: 20% off Apparel & Lingerie, 10% off Beauty, Food & Wine.

Well, of course the media got a better treat! We were given an exclusive invitation to indulge in the new M&S experience & here’s my pick! Just couldn't resist this red-hot chilli dress. Mmmm.... with or without a belt?

And these goodies too! I use a lot of Pesto for my cooking, which explains the 5 bottles of red/green Pesto :)

I hope you’ve enjoyed the tour as much as I did. With M&S brand new look, I’m sure there’s something for everyone. For those visiting S'pore soon, be sure to check out the new M&S!

  12. Now I know why I don't shop much -- I just follow you around, Shirley and have fun looking at everything while you do all the leg work, ha! That's a fresh, fun looking place! You look WONDERFUL in your new dress (the one you wore there, too) -- was thining you could wear the belted version with black heels & a patent-leather clutch and maybe an accent pin or a hat (?!) for evening, while the un-belted version would be breezy & light for daytime with some fun sandals. Either way, it suits you!

    1. Kim, u're always so adorable. Feel like giving u a big hug!! Love your ideas! But putting on a hat in S'pore will certainly stick out like a sore thumb. People here don't have the habit of wearing hats :<
