Bento-licious With CasaBento かわいいお弁当

What do you think of my latest bento? I’ve made a healthy vegetable dish with shrimps to go with rice for my son.

To top it off, there’re also some characters sitting on the lunch box. Can you guess what these cute cartoons & coloured balls are made of?

I’d received an exquisite gift from France. CasaBento sent me a classy Bushido Ryu Bento Box (18,49 €), with a pair of Timber Chopsticks in a matching case (7,56 € ); skilfully adorned with traditional motifs. These are all made in Japan.

The Kanji name of the model refers to the Wind & Ryu (龍) refers to the symbol of the Dragon representing energy & power.

The set comes with two boxes; one of them with a cover for food such as vegetables to prevent spillage. So are the bento boxes microwavable & dishwasher-proof? Of course, with its cover removed. This model also comes with an elastic band.

CasaBento had also included a set of Panda Picks (2,99 €) for my Bento. Aren’t these Pandas adorable? Perfect for my food presentation!

  14. Oh yes, btw, let me make a guess, the eyes and mouth of the panda is make from raisins; the coloured balls are quill eggs. Did i get it right? But what's that that make out the major item (the panda head), mmmm...... i just couldn't figure out.......
