Non-bake Baileys Oreo Cookies Cheesecake Teaser!

Oreo Cheesecake or Baileys Cheesecake? Well, what about having them both in one cake! That was exactly what I did for my hubby’s birthday, a perfect marriage between Oreo Cookies & Baileys Irish Cream!
The result was a blowout! It was a fresh interpretation of a novel challenge on the plate for me; this new taste will unquestionably appeal to the adventurous palates. The birthday cake stood out for its Oreo biscuit texture & rich cheesy Baileys flavour. Only complaint from me: I could’ve been more generous with the Baileys. Lol!

Ingredients (7” round cake):
(Base)
12 Oreo cookies
70 g Unsalted Butter (soft)

(Filling)
1 block Cream cheese
2 Oreo cookies
150ml whipping cream
30ml Baileys
40ml Water
1 tbsp gelatine powder
1 tsp Vanilla essence

(Decoration)
19 mini Oreo cookies (topping)
2 Oreo cookies (pound into powder)

Method:
  1. Put cookies in zip-bloc bag & crush it using a roller.
  2. Put crushed cookies together with butter & blend well.
  3. Place cake ring onto cake board. Press cookie mixture firmly into the ring & refrigerate for about an hour.
  4. Bring water to boil & add gelatine. Stir to dissolve.
  5. Beat cream cheese with whipped cream at medium speed until well combined. Add gelatine, vanilla essence & mix well.
  6. Remove base from fridge & pour in half of the mixture. Break 2 cookies with fork & throw it in.
  7. Distribute mixture evenly on the base & refrigerate for about 30 mins.
  8. Add remaining cream mixture & pour in Baileys. Smooth the mixture with a spatula. Alternatively, you can mix the Baileys with cream mixture before pouring into base if you prefer an even mix. Refrigerate for another hour.
  9. Remove cake ring. Using a heart-shape mould, pour cookie powder into it.
  10. Top with mini Oreo cookies & sprinkle some powder on the cake. Viola! You’ll get your delicious Oreo Cookies with Baileys Cheesecake dessert!

  41. Hi Blackswan,

Your cake looks so beautiful! ^^ Heehee I really wish to try making it too but I have noticed that you didnt use any sugar for this cake. Is there a reason why it is unnecessary in this recipe??

    1. Hi, thks for your lovely comments! I don't like my cheesecake too sweet. Besides, the Oreo cookies has cream in them & these are sweet enough. Well, u can always add a tsp of sugar in the mixture if u like.

Hope I've answered your question :) Feel free to buzz me should u need more info. Do send me a pix if u succeed in making it. I'd love to see it. Have fun!

  43. Apologies, 1 more qn, will it be possible to skip the whipping cream altogether? And if its a no, can I know whether you use dairy or non dairy cream?

    ReplyDelete
  44. Hihi, sure u can skip the whipping cream if u like & add 2 blocks of cream cheese instead. Check out my other recipe Non-bake Delicious Cheesecake that's not using the whip cream. Be adventurous; mix & match the ingredients. That's what I always do. Hahaha!

  45. Thanks Blackswan, but can I continue to follow your rest of the recipe meansurements?

    1. Perhaps u like to add a little more liquid since 2 blocks of cheese may be too creamy, eg. more baileys, more essence etc. Have fun, dear!
