My partner wanted something smooth, so the waiter recommended the Jade of Africa, which is a Red Tea. The delicate South Africa green rooibos (broom-like member of the legume family of plants), enhanced with subtle fragrance of red berries & a sprinkling of safflower petals, proved to be a right choice. The tea was as smooth as silk & was a pleasure to drink. The 3-Tier includes:
(Finger Sandwiches) Smoked Turkey, Black Forest Ham, emmenthal Cheese, Smoked Haibut, Salmon, Parma Ham & Hummus.
(Pastries) Apple Semi-Pris, Rasberry Macaroon, Chocolate Cake, Baked Figs & Almond Tart, Caramel Puffs, Fruit Financier & Black Forest Shooter.
I love the freshly baked scones with clotted cream & preserves. The Black Forest Shooter is a must-try, as this combination sends any dessert fanatics into a frenzy. I thought the Baked Figs & Almond Tart was quite unique too. I dislike fig but this tart was not too bad either. The overall experience was delightful.
