I think it’s an inborn talent I’ve got or perhaps it’s generic. I remember dad talking about Mont Blanc pens, Patek Philippe watches etc when I was just in my elementary school but of course, those were just names to me then. Somehow through the years, I began to develop a penchant for designer stuff…..
I got my first designer bag as soon as I got my first pay cheque – a Charles Jourdan bag. You hardly hear of it now but back in the 80s, CJ was kinda popular. In no time, I had a big collection of CJ stuff. Then I progressed to Gucci. Of course being an ex-crew does give one a headstart too. You travel the world in one of the best airlines, stay in mostly 5-star hotels, introduced to the world of caviar, Don Perignon etc, etc. Very soon, I found myself slipping into Ferragamo shoes, carrying Louis Vuitton cabin bag to work & Chanel to dinners, blah, blah, blah.
It’s probably strange to start a blog about fine dining, designer bags, gorgeous spas at this time of crisis but one doesn’t necessarily need to splurge to pamper oneself. In an economic downturn like this, I’ll be sharing with you on tips like “Your very own D.I.Y”, “How to cut down on your spending on designer bags?” as well as updating of events like Designer Sales or Spa Packages.
Well, I’ll try to share as much as I know & provide as many pictures as possible. I’d like to maintain this as a friendly & colourful site & “No Bitching” here please……..
Let’s all have fun & thank you for visiting Luxury Indulgence!
